Tracey chose dzԹ because it was the first Indigenous college-university program to offer Indigenous Education. Guided by Indigenous professors and land-based learning, she experienced education tat reflected her identity and culture, strengthening her sense of belonging.
Since 2001, Tracey has shared her Cultural Arts expertise — sewing, beading, and creating Star Blankets — through partnership with organizations like the Regina Multicultural Council, local schools and the RCMP Heritage Centre. Most recently, she contributed a dress to The Place of Reflection exhibition, continuing to uplift culture and community through her work.
Looking ahead, Tracey remains committed to using her skills to celebrate, preserve and share Indigenous knowledge and creativity across communities.
