External Communications & Media at dzԹ (dzԹ) supports how the University is represented publicly and how its stories, priorities, and perspectives are shared with external audiences.
Grounded in First Nations values and guided by the teachings of our Elders, this work focuses on clear, respectful, and culturally grounded public communications. It includes media relations, storytelling, issues management, and the coordination of dzԹ’s official media releases.
What We Do
- Respond to and coordinate media inquiries and interviews
- Develop and distribute dzԹ’s media releases, statements, and external announcements
- Support leadership with strategic communications during sensitive or high-profile issues
- Share dzԹ’s stories through earned media and external platforms
